It’s hard to believe that there are just two weeks left of regular season football in Kentucky, but Week 10 is upon us and it’s Homecoming on Highway 62 in Cecilia this weekend, as the Bruins of Central Hardin will host Barren County in a district battle that could more closely resemble a rock fight than a football game. Central Hardin has had their struggles adapting with new coach Phillip Stockdale at the helm, helped in no small part by an incredibly difficult schedule that saw them play state powers Bowling Green and Louisville Central in back-to-back weeks, plus a road swing to start the season that included DuPont Manual and Henderson County. But with a district win over Warren Central, the Bruins are in position to plant a flag on the 2 line of the district with a win over Barren County, who also beat Warren Central and lost to North Hardin, and potentially host a first round playoff game.
Heartland Gameday Live will fire from 6:00-7:00, with pregame from the booth starting at 7:30 and kickoff at 8:00!
We’ll have all the action from Bruin Stadium this Friday night, on KMO Country 101.5, and streaming at www.etownradio.com!
