Coach Vonce Isom has resigned from his position as head coach of the North Hardin Lady Trojans. In two years at the helm of the program, Isom compiled a 46-20 record and won two 17th District Championships and was named the 2024 5th Region Coaches Association Coach of the Year after he lead the Trojans, spearheaded by daughter Paityn Isom, to 27 wins, the most in a single season in school history.
Joe Stockton, North Hardin Athletic Director offered this about Isom’s tenure:
“Coach Isom has set a standard for North Hardin Lady Trojan basketball that will be hard to find anyone to match. In his short time here at North, he has changed the culture and has gotten great community following. I can only wish him and his family the upmost respect and gratitude for sharing their father and husband with this school.”
Stockton said that returning players and parents would be consulted about the next head of the program, and the search will begin immediately.
