Tyler Mattingly will be the new head man at Elizabethtown, inheriting a program that went 4-8 last year under interim head coach Alfredo Silva, playing in one of the state’s toughest districts that includes 3A state champion Christian Academy of Louisville, perennial power Louisville Central, and LaRue County, who also struggled last year.
Mattingly was previously an assistant at Central Hardin and before that served as Offensive Coordinator at Madison Central and was a part of the staff at the 5A 2021 State Champion South Warren Spartans. He is the son of Central Hardin’s former head coach Tim Mattingly.
